Specialist Wheel Alignment Services from DP Tyres Wigan

DP Tyres uses industry leading specialist Hunter 4 Wheel Alignment equipment, which measures a minimum of 12 angles and compares them to the alignment data specified by the vehicle manufacturer. With such accurate readings, 4 Wheel Alignment allows toe adjustments of individual wheels which ensure the steering wheel is set straight.

To maintain proper control of your car, you must keep your wheels in proper alignment. Otherwise, steering will become difficult, your tyres will wear unevenly and your fuel consumption will increase.

Misalignment can cause huge increases in tyre wear and increase fuel consumption. Two degrees of misalignment on both front wheels could increase fuel consumption by around 10%. 11% of all premature tyre removals were due to uneven wear caused by wheel misalignment. Wheel alignment should be checked at least once a year and always after hard impact with kerbs, speed bumps or similar obstructions.

As good as it gets!! Rang DP Tyres to check availability, spoke to a lovely lady called Natalie who kindly confirmed they didn't have the tyres in stock but they could order them for later the same afternoon. I asked if a deposit was needed or if any details needed to be taken and the answer was no. I can't tell you how refreshing this is in todays world to be taken at your word! I turned up to have them fitted the following day as agreed, Darren, top bloke asked me to park in front of the bay and set to work changing the tyres. No fuss, no waiting. I mentioned an issue with the rears having a wobble at speed, Darren kindly took them off and checked them though his state of the art wheel balancer to re balance them. All of this was done at a very reasonable price, much cheaper than the dealerships and Natalie even gave me a coupon to claim money back from the tyre manufacturer!!
